We went to La Fortuna for lunch but then left and explored the area on our own. Best part was the local cuisine by Dona Mara - look it up if you are in the area. It was worth it and there is a Jungle to explore behind her place!

It is true what they say - DRIVE A CAR WITH TRACTION AND GUTS! Roads are steep and difficult. But, the best adventures come with some adversity! This video is a snapshot of our drive around Lake Arenal - and we arrive a the most INCREDIBLE location (will share in next video)

This is STOP 4 of our Costa Rica Road Trip. This video shares WHY you cannot miss this area when travelling through Costa Rica. Try to stay away from the crowded town and make your way up to the mountains WHERE YOU STAY IN THE CLOUD FORESTS! We are here for 3 Days before heading to Jaco Beach area on the Pacific Coast.

This is #5 of Costa Rica series. I am so glad we ventured off the beaten path for this one. Lots to see here. The drive is doable -just go slow and easy and don't do it if it is raining. This is stop #4 on our 14 day Road Trip through Costa Rica. We stayed at a small airbnb across from the beach. If you are into surfing - this place is for you! The waves are big so it is hard to swim (although super fun). It rained most of the time we were there - but we stil enjoyed relaxing. I hope you take a sec to folllow/like as I'm just starting out on this Travel Vlog and woud like to try to grow the channel! :) After this, we head to Naranjito (close to Manual Antonio Area).

Stop #5 on our Costa Rican Road Trip. We found ourselves on a local farm - nestled in a cabini amongst the rain forest. Beautiful area of Naranjito.

I wasn't expecting to see an IGUANA BATTLE - nor a CROC on the shore - and then a ton of Monkeys at the edge of a public beach. We didn't need to do the tours or wait in lines - just a bit of hiking off the beaten path. It is so much fun to see animals in their habitat. I highy recommend Macha beach if you are in the Manuel Antonio area - just be prepared for a pretty good hike in and out!
